Recurring Payments Calendar

Budgie spots subscription patterns and renewals, plots them on a month calendar, and forecasts what's coming.

Why subscriptions need their own view

Subscriptions are the slow leak in every budget. Budgie scans your transaction history for amount + cadence patterns (Netflix, gym, mortgage, ISA) and surfaces them on a dedicated calendar tab.

Tap a calendar day to see the transactions due. The forecasted upcoming list extends out into the next 60 days. Cross-currency recurring shows in your home currency; original amount on tap.

What you get

Auto-detection scans transaction history for amount + cadence patterns — no manual setup

Month-grid calendar plots upcoming renewals; tap a day to see what's billing

60-day forecast list of upcoming recurring payments

Cross-currency recurring shows in your home currency; original amount on tap

Manual edits to detected patterns are sticky — the next scan respects them

How it works

Detection runs as a background task on your transaction table. The pattern interface stores merchant fingerprint, average amount, cadence, and last-seen date. Manual edits to a pattern are sticky.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Budgie know what's recurring?
A background scan looks at your transaction history for amount + cadence patterns: same vendor, similar amount, regular interval. Confidence scores filter out one-off matches.
What about cross-currency subscriptions?
Recurring entries show in your home currency on the calendar; tap any entry to see the original amount and currency.
Can I edit a detected pattern?
Yes. Tap a pattern to adjust amount, cadence, or merchant. Manual edits are sticky — the next scan respects them.
How far does the forecast go?
60 days into the future based on each pattern's cadence. Useful for spotting which week is going to be heavy.
